Club Friendlies Overview
Club friendlies are non-competitive matches played during preseason, mid-season breaks, or international tours. Teams use these fixtures to build fitness, test tactics, integrate new signings, and generate revenue through global tours. There are no league standings—these are preparation matches before or between competitive campaigns.
Club friendlies don't feature traditional standings as they're training matches and exhibition games. Results matter less than fitness building and tactical experimentation. However, preseason form can indicate team readiness, while friendly tournaments occasionally have mini-league formats with temporary standings.
